The word "Diesel" reminds us of something that may not be flashy but an object that is built for strength and longevity. This is our rendition of the basic plain toe boot pattern made with proven leather uppers, lining, insole, and outsole. The kicker is the Leo last being utilized on a boot pattern, which offers exceptional support and comfort. 

The Badalassi Carlo Tannery's Minerva leather is one of our favorites. This boutique Italian tannery specializes in vegetable tanning. During the process, the leather is placed in a 'Bottali,' a large barrel that rotates, allowing the organic tanning substances to stay in contact with the article. A complete cycle may take 30 - 35 days. The result is an incredibly rich leather with transparency and depth.

The leather can have prominent vamp breaks and a variation of colors. Since this is a light-colored vegetable-tanned article, areas on the boot may have darker hues.
